Jambayala is originated from Louisiana United States. The recipe is widely eaten there. Many people eat this dish there. Jambalaya is cooked on many occasions there. It is a good dish to entertain your guests with. This recipe is easy to cook and you can cook it easily at home. You can add stuff and ingredients you would like to have in your dish. Rather, than classic ingredients, you can add more spices and stuff you prefer as well. It is the best dish to serve on special occasions. You can easily create this dish. But you have to use the ingredients stated here in order to achieve the best taste. Use more tomatoes and use seasoning as well. You can also prepare with less seasoning as well. That we taste in Jamabayala are stated below;

  1. Meat ( You can use any meat, depends on your taste)
  2. Vegetables
  3. Stock
  4. Cooked Rice
  5. Green peppers
  6. Tomatoes (you can use canned tomatoes as well)
  7. Chopped Celery
  8. Cajun and Creole
  9. Hot Sauce
  10. Sausage
  11. Shrimps

Preperation

If you are planning to make cajun Jambayala, follow these steps in order to achieve the better and classic taste:

  1. Add Cut cubes of 1 pound boneless chicken breasts in a boiler.
  2. Add 2-pound and ouille sausage, season with pepper and other spices.
  3. Add 27 ounce can tomatoes. Will give a better taste to the dish.
  4. Add 1 small or medium sized chopped onion. 
  5. Add 1 cup of chicken broth. 
  6. 1 or 2 reasons dried oregano. 
  7. 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning.
  8. 2 spoon hot sauce will give the spicy taste to the dish.
  9. 1 pound shrimp and add it to the mixture.
  10. 2 to 3 cups of rice, add it to the mixture.
  11. Cook the whole mixture on a slow burner or boiler for 2 hours. Remember it has to be slow. 
  12. Add all the ingredients in a sequence we have listed above. 
  13. Add bay leaves in the mixture as well to have a better taste. 
  14. Season your chicken with spices, it will improve the taste of the whole dish.
